Classes and Workshops
A note to our customers in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak: We are taking the health and safety of our customers and staff very seriously. In accordance with the state advisory, we have cancelled workshops through April 7, and will assess further cancellations on a week-by-week basis. If you are already registered for an upcoming workshop, you will receive an email notification should it be cancelled, and your registration fee will be refunded at that time. Raising Chicks
Come learn the basics of raising chicks! This class will prepare you for everything from taking your chicks home to moving them into their coop. We'll cover breed selection, setting up their brooder, basic heath and nutrition, development milestones, and more.

Raising Backyard Chickens
Join us at Agrarian to learn everything you need to know about keeping a small flock of chickens right in your very own backyard. You'll learn the basics about chicken breeds, what to feed your flock, chicken coop necessities, and how to keep them safe from predators. You will leave this class ready to start your very own backyard chicken flock.
$10/person, kids may attend for free.

How to Build a Chicken Coop
This class will cover everything you need to know to build your own chicken coop and chicken run. We'll cover materials, dimensions, and all the necessities for keeping your flock safe and comfortable. Whether you want a fancy chicken palace or something simple and functional, you'll leave armed with the knowledge to get it done!

How to Build a 4' x 8' Raised Bed
We will have all of the tools, lumber, hardware and instruction you need to build your very own raised bed for vegetable gardening. You will leave with a raised bed that you have constructed yourself, with our expert supervision, of course!
$100/raised bed built. Work in a team with your family or friends - there's no additional per person charge!

Rain Barrel Workshop
We will have all the tools, hardware, barrels and instruction you need to complete a working rain barrel. You will leave the workshop with a finished barrel and for an additional $35 you can make a pressure treated platform for your barrel.
