Sultans are known to be among the calmest and most tame chicken breed, making them a great pet! Their unique appearance features a full crest, muff and beard, and heavily feathered legs and feet, and an extra toe. Their crest feathers can limit their vision, so they do better in a fully enclosed coop and covered run. Though they're bred as an ornamental bird, they will lay about 3 - 5 eggs per week.
