The Mosaic is a rare breed, developed from years of selective breeding of fibromelanistic breeds to produce a bird with slate skin, blue earlobes, and a wide variety of feather patterns.  Mosaics are a medium-sized bird that lay cream colored eggs and can be good winter layers.  They tend to have a friendly, curious personality.
