Olive Eggers are a hybrid between a dark brown egg layer and a blue egg layer. They come from a variety of parent breeds, which leads to a wide range of physical features and feather coloration. Most Partridge Olive Eggers will have brown, red, or gold coloration with black penciling. Genetics in this breeding line can lead to some chicks starting out yellow and maturing into a white adult. Some may also have head crests. Eggs can range from dark olive green to turqoise , and there is the ocassional possibility of tinted or brown eggs.
