Olive Eggers are a hybrid between a dark brown egg layer and a blue egg layer. They come from a variety of parent breeds, which leads to a wide range of physical features and feather coloration. Most Wheaten Olive Eggers will have buff or cream coloration. They may have straight or pea combs and some may develop leg feathers. Eggs are generally olive green, but can be tan or even speckled.

If a chick dies within 48 hours of being picked up, we will provide a refund or a replacement chick, if one is available. Chicks cannot be returned to the store in the interest of biosecurity.
Chicks are available for in-store pickup on the selected Saturday Chick Day or on the following Sunday between noon and 4 pm. Unless alternative arrangements are made by calling the store, reserved chicks that are not picked up within one week will be released for sale.

You will receive a confirmation email with additional pick up information the Thursday or Friday prior to pick up. If we are unable to fulfill your reservation for any reason, a store representative will call you with further information.
These chicks are sexed at the hatchery (with 90% certainty), but the occasional rooster does slip through. Rooster insurance is available for $.50 per chick. If an insured chick turns out to be a rooster we will take it back at no additional charge, per our rooster policy. Uninsured roosters or those not purchased at Agrarian are assessed a $20 handling fee. Rooster insurance may be added at the time of pick up.
